Hello travel fans.  I hope you have been able to keep dry this past week.  Southwest Alberta has received it’s fair share of rainfall but the forecast is calling for sun to return as early as Wednesday morning. 

With the sunshine on the way back the good folks in Taber have rescheduled their parade to this Saturday June 5 at 2 pm. The parade was originally scheduled for last Saturday but was cancelled because of rain.

Sports fans in Lethbridge may be pulling for the Chicago Blackhawks a little bit more than the Philadelphia Flyers in this year’s Stanley Cup final.  The Hawks have three players with Lethbridge ties.  Kris Versteeg, Brent Seabrook and Tomas Kopecky are all former Lethbridge Hurricanes.  Versteeg was also born and raised in Lethbridge.  Chicago leads the best of seven series 2-0.
